As title says-it just stopped lifting one day.
Was strong, never gave any previous problems.
No external leaks. Mechanical controls seem to actuate ok.
Any suggestions on diagnosis and fix?
Thanks in advance!

Easiest thing to check is the quick disconnects on the loader if it has one. Disconnect and reconnect all of them. Many times a stick will hit and partially dislodge one.

Unless I'm missing something, the three point hitch hydraulics on an L 200 does not use quick disconnects.
Quick disconnects on the loader if it has one.

Parts info for a L200 seems scarce.

I see it has a suction filter as I have marked on the parts illustration for a L210 which I believe to be similar..

I find the illustration to be confusing but with the real tractor it all may make sense.

Follow the large pipe/hose from the hydraulic pump and you will find the filter.

It needs to be cleaned or replaced.

If there are rubber hose sections along the suction line for the hydraulic pump these would be highly suspect to be allowing air to be drawn into the hydraulic system.

This is helpful, thanks! Do you have this as jpeg?
Or perhaps entire manual? I've been piecing together some images of the hydraulics, and a manual would sure help!

There is a low quality workshop manual on Kubotabooks.com that claims to cover the L210 among other models.

Kubotabooks.com

The image from my first post is a jpeg.

First click on the image and it should then appear as an indiviual page with nothing else, next you right click on & it a menu should pop up saying Save Image.

Oil changed, in reservoir filter screen cleaned, no change.
Changing spin on filter now.
I'm guessing next step is to see if pump actually has any flow.
Based on that, if there is flow, then determine if valve is malfunctioning?

Check the engine oil level. If the hydraulic pump shaft seal failed it may be pumping hydraulic fluid into the engine crankcase.

That could be your problem and is an easy fix.

Thanks Russel, I did not see that hydraulic levels decreased, or crankcase increased.
Whats the recommended way to determine pump output-and is there a way to quantify flow ratte?
