Bought a Kubota L1801 two years ago for my family in Romania (I live in Edinburgh,Scotland),and proved to be a very good machine.On my last visit over Easter I discovered that the tractor developed a knock from engine when pressing clutch and on oil leak from clutch housing.Took me no time to split the tractor and found radial play in crankshaft, hence oil leak from rear seal.Had no time to strip any further but I'm going back in july for longer so I'm trying to find as many technical info possible , source parts supplyers etc.Altough I'm not a regular user I'l try to keep a jurnal ,with photos, may be useful for other people.So far I Know: grey market L1801 special,with Z851 2cyl engine ,similar with Z650( fitted to B700) ,Z750(fitted to L715,L1500)Z751(fitted to L185,L1500) engines,different bore size(82mm in L1801).Same part no for crankshaft, main and conrod bearings, thrust wahers ,crankshaft collar.So if no damage to crankshaft may get away with std bearings. But I'll not know until is all in bits.So I'm looking for any technical info,tips,parts suppliers prepared to ship parts ,etc.Thank you.
