My tractor is sputtering and wont fully idle. If you give it throttle, it will sputter harder and die out. I just removed and cleaned the injector so i dint know what it could be. I only removed the injector because it was leakin diesel around the return ring. I pulled it, broke it down, cleaned it up an put it back to gether with some dielectric grease around the outer lip of the return ring to stop the leak, an it did stop but it started sputtering

Either the injector is not spraying correctly or you have air in the fuel system. Have you cracked the fuel line fitting on the injector to make sure there is no air in it?

ok, i put the bottom spring plate on upside down. it was dirty and i pulled it out, cleaned it, and after watching vic's vid on bleeding the lines, did that and it runs like a charm now. :D
