For the life of me, my brother Darrell and my other brother Darrell, we cannot locate where the hydraulic fluid filter is on our 1982 L245 Kubota tractor (4 wheel drive). It does have the loader option on it and we can trace the hoses on the loader to the main valve area...we have that many...

Hey guys i have a kubota l185 2wd and am going to drain and service trans-hydro fluid... i deff want to clean the screen every one talks about?? i have heard the sreen you follow hydro line back to trans and then 4-5 bolts and the screen comes out??? if some one has pics or more helpful info...

I have the L1501DT (must be similar to L1500?) and just replaced the trans-hydraulic fluid and screen. Will post some photos below. Filter for L1501DT is part number 34150-37710. Filter was fully clogged and partially crushed from poor install of suction line. Am in Canada so had to order from Kubota dealer and filter was only about $20CAD.

Filter is accessed from left side of tractor, on the bell housing of rear axle. Two bolts on a little plate directly across from suction line attachment on the other side.
