New here and looking for some help. Trying to get the PTO shaft off so i can replace the seal. Ive read where you unbolt the housing and the shaft should pull out. What am I missing mine will only pull out about 1/2 inch or so. Anyone have this problem?

You need to split the tractor. You have a snap ring at the front of the shaft that need to be removed. Look at a parts break down to see what you are dealing with.
