Kubota Z122R rough idle

I bought a Kubota Z122R with 37 hours on the meter at an auction. At first it wouldn't start cause the ignition and 2 solenoids went missing but after replacing them it fired up. I noticed it idles rough when it's at low idle but does fine when it's in high idle? It's a 21 hp Kawasaki engine.

And advice or suggestions? I replaced the fuel and fuel filter with a B&S universal filter but still idles rough?

Could be the spark plug. The manual for my z121 recommends replacing the spark plug once a year.

Depending on how long it sat and if it had ethanol gas, the carburetor may need to be cleaned.

What's the best way to clean the carburetor???

I usually pull them, then figure out where the jets inject into the carburetor. Soak it really good with carb cleaner. Then use the little straw that comes with the can of cleaner to blow back through the jets to unclog them. I also remove the sediment bowl, clean any trash out of that. And make sure the float needle works freely.
