Hi - just wondering - My Kubota TG 1860 diesel takes a part # HP-8032 for an oil filter - They want 20 bucks for it. Is there a replacement part that would fit. 20 bucks is a bit high for a filter, no?

Thanks
Joe C.

Joe,

I just checked with Messick's online to see why the oil filter was so expensive. I checked the commonly used parts list and they had a different number for an oil filter than you showed.
http://www.messicks.com/TractorParts/Kubota/tg1860.aspx
It was listed at $9.29 which seems about right. They show part#HH150-32430. Double check your info.

Thank you!!!! - That is odd - when I googled oil filter for tg 1860 it brought me to another web site called K & N and showed HP-8032 - I will call to make sure and order it. Thanks again!

If you want to try an aftermarket consider Baldwin brand. I don't have a part number for your particular application but you can go online or call Baldwin TechRep at 800-- and get a part number.

Good filters, reasonably priced. In my area primarily available through commercial truck parts houses.

Thanks Stubbyie- I actually called a local Advance Auto Parts and they have a Fram replacement, not any cheaper but more convenient to me. They wanted $15 to ship a $9 item at Messicks. I can get the Fram or Baldwin and it will be fine - I don't have much grass here - maybe a 30 minute cut every 2 week.
Thanks for the reply!!!
