Only had this tractor for a month, 2016 l4701with loader, nice unit, have not worked it much yet but seems to have plenty of power although little light in the rear so buying me a heavy hitch ballast weight bracket to solve that. Just wanted to say went through the first regen with it an seemed to preform as expected. Only lasting 2 tenths of a hr an having to raise the rpms, 200 rpm. A slight notice in engine tempo an smelled the exhaust getting hot.Wasnt sure how Kubota was within the emissions standard but all seems good.

How about some pics. Just got a L4701 two wheel drive. So far so good. I only have about 15 hours on it.

Just had my new l4701 do the same first regen. Had to raise rpm's and noticed the different engine sound and the exhaust smell. Lasted 2 tenths of an hour. I have only had mine for two weeks with the hour meter at 8.5 for the regen. I'm was a little concerned about the tier 4 emissions stuff before purchasing the tractor. Thanks for your post!

No, problem. So far I am quite happy with the l4701 HST.
I have gone thru two regens so far. All worked well, but thought maybe was to frequent of hrs when it regens. Mine was also at 8hrs an at 16hrs. I had been running the tractor at 2000-2200rpm. Tryn to be easy on the engine for break-in time. But had thought there mite had not been enough thermal management in the PDF at those rpm. Had increased rpms to 2500-2600 rpms at all times an had better results/less regens. At the higher rpms I can smell the exhaust as if it is getting hotter/with no dpf lite on, to self clean the dpf with thermal management. As I do know a dpf will work better value with more heat an be sufficient on its own.
