Hello all,
I was hoping for some assistance in determining O ring sizing on the three point linkage hydraulic system. I've been noticing a slow drop in the three point linkage while operating the tractor and that without having load on it. I've drained hydraulic fluids and noticed significant caking of dirt on the hydraulic filter cartridge which will be cleaned during this service. I'm also considering flushing the transmission in an attempt to rid most dirt caught up in the system.

I was hoping someone could confirm sizes on the three point linkage piston o ring along with sizes on the large and smaller o rings on the piston cover(unsure about terminology)

Thanks in advance all any assistance will be appreciated.

Not sure you'll get the specs here, but someone may chime in, you can either pull it and take it to an engineering shop and get orings for it, or have a look at the online parts layout and parts number list here and see if kubota can get it in for you

By the way, you say dirt on the filter, you mean you have a buildup of crud on the hydraulic screen? If your brakes are wet which I expect they are, the linings may be disintegrating and ending up in the oil, someone has had this problem recently, can't remember the tractor though, but was mentioned in the last few weeks IIRC
EDIT: Very much a different tractor so may not be useful

Hello again,
Yes one can say severe crud buildup but even more alarming is I noticed sandlike soil deposits which is a bit of a concern.

How do I go about flushing the gearbox without causing further damage considering all fluids have now been removed?

I'll investigate the brake wear which is quite possible considering its age.

Many thanks
