I have a KK FM-60. I’m in the process of rebuilding my spindles. My original spindles have a wave spring washer on each bearing, but one is broken. I’m assuming it was over tightened, which probably led to it failing.

All of the bearing kits I see don’t come with the wave spring washer.
I’m looking for opinions on whether they are needed or not.

Also, anyone know what torque specs are for spindles?

Typically, manufacturers don't install parts like that unless they are necessary. Check McMaster Carr or Amazon. I would normally suggest your local power transmission supply house, but they don't stock parts anymore. "We show 25 in our Indianapolis warehouse, we can have it by next Thursday. "

Here is a kit on Amazon for $31. Doesn't show any wave washers but claims to be exact replacements and has 88 5 star ratings.

Search amazon for WAVE washer, they have several kits with different sizes. See if they have your size, you will have to measure yours.

WHY would you start searching all-over-the-world for a small part….. instead of simply contacting the implement manufacturer or dealer?

WELL, if you go back and read the first post you’ll see that I wrote “I’m looking for opinions on whether they are needed or not.” Opinions are what I am searching all-over-the-world for; not smart ass comments from douche bags.
I know where to get the parts. And the manufacturer has not responded to my emails.

Do you frequently believe others think only You are important? What makes you think I was addressing You?
Did I even mention your question ? (Examine your own quote and perhaps you’ll see I did not.)

My post was, subsequent to, and in response to some of the suggestions made by others who seemed first-inclined to seek parts from elsewhere than the OEM.

While examining your own comments, ….you might consider your vocabulary…as it reflects upon yourself.
