So after my mower was cutting like crap I verified rotation under the mower. Well the blunt side of the blade is engaging the grass. Mystery solved!

Question is is this simply an incorrect belt install ? Simpler fix than having to drop the damn thing and flip the blades.

Does anyone have a belt diagram for the K-44 on a B6000 or how to remove the entire deck?

This is a new design I have never seen before.

Before relying on a belt diagram which could be wrong, I would study the blade rotation.

Turn the outer discharge side blade so the blade is parallel to the discharge chute of the deck.

The forward edge of the blade should move to throw material out the chute if it is rotating correctly..

I verified by turning the PTO on and watching rotation as it spun down... def belt issue.

Did the figure 8 with the belt and perfect cuts now LOL. Good news is the blades were brand new since being replaced by the last owner they were running backwards hahahahahaha

I think a lot of people learned from your experience with belt routing.

I should have known better as the volume discharging in high grass was so little ! But yes def check belt routing if you acquire a new to you machine LOL The belt was not aligned and tensioned properly & badly frayed. It broke about 2 hours into a mowing session. Picked up a new one and set it so the offset between top and bottom gave clearance at all deck elevations and finished cutting, everything ran like a like a clock.
