I'm new to this, having never owned a riding mower let alone a tractor.
I have 10 acres out of town, not my residence, that I'll mostly be mowing & some grading. Some trenching for septic lines as necessary & putting in a small garden.
My question is, what do I need to keep there? Thinking a 5 gallon diesel can, small air compressor. Hand tools I can run back and forth. Some oil, transmission & hydraulic fluid. Etc...
Any help would be great!!

Consider wheel spacers if you have a slope. Check out some of the ROP lights that folks have rigged up. Chain hooks for the bucket...I keep a couple 5' lenghts of 1/4" chain on my front grill.

I'm pretty aggressive with my tractor...so I keep a bunch of spare parts at hand. Definitely get a filter kit...fuel and oil filters... nothing sucks more than a clogged filter to ruin a weekend. Extra pins.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the OTT forum Giglr. You have come to the right place to get answers.

Congrats on your new toy... I mean tractor. :D

I always keep a 5 gallon can of diesel fuel handy. I hate to not have enough fuel around to finish a project.

I also keep a bottle of Bio-Cide around so that I can put a little in each tank full of fuel to kill the algae.

You have to have a grease gun and tubes of grease.

Normally, oil and hydraulic fluid is only needed when it is time to change them.
