j bar finish mower pto speed

I have a B7100D, 3 pto speeds. Anyone have a idea what pto speed i should run for a finish mower? New Kubota owner, always controlled pto with throttle and gear. joe

All 540 pto machines should not be operated more than a hundred rpms more than stated. On most tractors, the tach has a 540 pto rpm indicator. That means pto 1, generally about 2800 rpms
