is Quick Attach (SSQA) for L3400 same as L3901?

Saw several threads on quick attach for the L3400 with LA463 FEL. Consensus is that the correct part is the L2230. I went to local Kubota dealer here in NH to order it and same issue as everyone else reported, they say the computer does not list a quick attach for the LA463. He says he has the coupler for the L3901 in stock and believes it will fit. Measuring loader arms - center to center - is exacting 40" on both my tractor and the L3901 he has on the lot. Going to reuse my bucket, have them cut off the ears and weld on the plate. anyone know if the quick attach for the L3901 will fit the LA463? thanks

It's the same loader except for the loader arms on the LA525 being more of an arch.
Well turns out the ssqa for the LA525 is part #2216 and it fits my FEL but is not the correct SSQA. Problem is when fel is raised up to max height the bucket doesn't dump. The bottom of the bucket is parallel to the ground. Must be the holes that the pins go into are not in correct location and this affects how the bucket rotates. Right now dealer is saying I'm stuck with it as was special order.

In your first post, he had it in stock. Seems like he could order an L3901 without SSQA and install yours.
If you can't get one from Kubota, ATI makes one.

Yes he told me originally he could order one from ATI and it was $400 more than the kubota part. I may end up going that route if we can find the l2230a. Thanks

You can order it from asktractormike - it includes the adapter plate for your bucket.

I bought mine from Amazon. Someone on here found it after I couldn't. Try searching by the QA # as well as the 9 digit #.
ATI's distribution is strange. They only sell to distributors to dealers. Neither of my dealers sold ATI, but I found a New Holland dealer 2 hours away that could order me one - 6 wk delivery. But ATI sold me one through Amazon, in stock (sort of/long story) with free delivery for a little less than the dealer could. No wonder the dealers don't want to deal with them!

Hi PoTreeBoy, do you know where I find the QA # or the 9 digit #? All I know is the Kubota reference of L2230A. Thanks

W R Long may make an adapter for your loader. You'd probably have to call them, I don't think they're on their website.
Another option - assuming you're going to cut the ears off your bucket to weld on the mounting plate. Weld the cutoff ears onto a universal adapter. You'll have to be careful to get the spacing and alignment right, but that's what those universal adapters are made for. They're significantly cheaper than a custom adapter.
