I have a L1-235 DT and the PTO shifter cannot move the two selector shafts in the gearbox.

I have split my L1-235DT in order to repair the PTO that dosed not work. The "H" type PTO selector lever does not budge, therefore cannot select the PTO. I did notice that on the side of the gearbox there is a bolt that had a hose clamp and a few rubber seals. It looks like this used to be the release selector for the PTO that has been removed. I opened up the cover on the gearbox and using a special camera and was able to view inside the gearbox and noticed that this bolt that I mentioned before holds a selector plate.
Does anyone have any input on this issue.

Try to score a parts breakdown of the transmission and PTO before splitting the cases - it may not be necessary to do so. If you can remove the shifter and its mounting plate from the top of the transmission and PTO selector you may learn a bit about how it works. I had an old Mitsubishi which kept getting stuck in second. I found I could remove the top of the transmission and reposition the gears manually.

I have removed the inspection plate on top of the gearbox and inserted a camera and what I found was a selector plate controlled by a bold onside of gearbox. The bolt looked suspicious with a hose clamp and a few O rings. Something is missing that was mounted on this bolt.............dose anyone know
