hydraulics backwards on my front end loader

When I connect the hoses to the hydraulic block going red to red, white to white etc. the joystick works backwards. If I push the joystick right and left the bucket goes up and down. When I push the joystick forward or backward the bucket rolls The white and yellow hoses control the up and down on the boom and the red and blue hoses control the bucket (I followed the lines from the loader to the hydarulic block).
The yellow hose is in the upper left on the block, the white is in the lower left, the red is on the upper right and the blue is on the lower right. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Swap around till it works right and then re-label them. I had to do it on my (used) blower. Must not be a standard color/function correlation.

This is a very dangerous situation. You should not be lifting anything until it works correctly. ( which you have done) I investigated a terrible accident where an old farmer was lifting a heavy round bale with the bucket. Things were backwards on the loader and at the end of the day when tired he rolled the bale back on top of himself and slowly suffocated.
There is a natural intuitive motion to the direction the lever(s) is to be moved to achieve a certain motion. Yes you can learn to operate it backwards but it is always waiting to bite you.

I agree that this is dangerous and needs to be corrected. Just need to figure out which hose needs to go where.
