I have an older BX22D and while snow blowing last week I seem to have lost my hydraulic pump. Apparently something on the backhoe controls started leaking and by the time I finished it went out. Still had fluid but I'm assuming it was too low. My question is.... Pumps for this tractor from the local Kubota shop will cost me right at $1,000.00. I'm able to find replacement pumps for $300-$500 and then it jumps up to the OEM $1,000.00. Has anyone had any luck with an aftermarket pump? These gear pumps aren't anything special from a manufacture and machining standpoint.

Aftermarket pumps have been used by many. But before doing anything rash
