Hydraulic prob on M9540

Hydraulics on m9540 loader tractor suddenly became slow and jerky, first symptom was the left brake pedal becoming very soft, shortly after all the hydraulics became very slow and jerky. The hydraulic shuttle also is very delayed to move the tractor, i topped off the fluid and raised and lowered the loader several times to bleed the air because i initially thought it was low on fluid. now nothing has changed. I am hoping it is something simple and not the pump. any advice would be great. thanks

Change the Hydraulic filters and try it. That and lack of fluid are about all that can affect both the accessory hydraulics and the brake and shuttle. Kubota use a tandem pump, one section runs the loader and TPH, the other section runs the steering, brakes and shuttle. It would be unlikely both sections would fail at the same time.

I don't see how both could fail at the same time other than this.

I guess sometimes you have to stick to the basics and not over think, the filter change worked. Working great now, thanks
