Hello. Sorry, this is pretty pathetic for a first post. I am looking for the correct part number for a hydraulic line on my B21. It's one of the two with a quick connect coupler on the 3-pt. hitch. When looking from the back of the tractor at the hitch, it's on the left. It's also got a fabric-like sheathing on it. Anyone happen to know the correct part number for this? Thanks!

Your solution is to remove the line in question and go to a local hydraulics business where they can make you a correct hose in a few minutes for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Suggest you add more info to your profile so we can see where you live and someone may recommend a business in your area.

Sometimes a forum member may be your neighbor and can drop by and give advice. There are forum members around the world.

For future reference, Messicks.com at this link is where everyone goes to look up parts and to buy.

Learning how to take and post brighter photos will make giving you advice and understanding your problem much easier.

I sent you a private message re Workshop manual.

Not sure on part number but if you need it replaced just take hose to Napa or any local shop that makes hydraulic hoses and it will be a lot cheaper than ordering a new one.

I know the hose you are talking about, but a quick look from me........it appears that they missed it and a steel line, between the tractor and hoe diagrams. It may be hiding somewhere, mine is leaking as well, and I'll probably need to get a new one made up.

Without going to my tractor, that's the one leaving the bottom steel line on the right of the tractor?

Gentlemen, thank you for your replies! Yea, sorry about the picture- it was completely dark last night when I took it so that was the best I could do.

Good call on Napa. I didn't know they made hoses. I'll have to check that out.

I had to replace four lines in the backhoe recently, and when I called around it would have been just as much to buy online as to mess around and get them made locally. I didn't try too hard, but I figured if I got authentic Kubota parts at least they would be correct. I'm new to tractoring so it's all a learning experience! My B21 is a bit of a fixer so it needs some TLC.

Yes, 100 td, if you're standing in the back looking to the front of the tractor, the line that is leaking starts down a little below the seat on the right and hooks into a hard metal line. It snakes up and to the left and has the quick connect coupler on the end where it connects to a fixed male plug that goes to the backhoe.

I actually bought the WSM etc. but I couldn't find this line in the B21 IPL. I found one that might be it in the backhoe IPL but I thought it was odd that these would be part of the backhoe IPL and not the main B21 IPL.

Anyway, taking the bad one to a dealer (Napa- who would have thought!) might be the best option. Thanks again everyone!

And it was! No one was in the store when I got there so Napa had me in and out with a new hose in 15 minutes. Sweet! A little pricey for a 36" hose & two ends at $54.17, but I assume online would have run me at least $35-$40. Worth it to get it done. Thanks again folks for the replies and help!
