Good day all,
First time on this forum glad to be onboard. I have a b8200d and I am slowly dumping hydraulic fluid in my motor. I suspect an oil seals in the pump. Before I start tearing it appart I'd like to see if anyone has had similar issues. If so, which seal do you think would be the culprit? Is there a rebuild kit available for these pumps? If not are parts still available at all or will I need to replace the whole pump? Hope not! Any help would be great to get me started.
Much appreciated. Cheers

If you’re positive it is hydraulic fluid and not diesel fuel then the hydraulic pump will need a repair to the input shaft seal. But you should really replace all the seals and o-rings while you are at it.

There are some tractors that dump diesel fuel into the engine when a diaphragm fails.

The dealer should have the parts to repair the hydraulic pump. I repaired mine and the only problem was getting the correct shaft seal. The pump was different than the tractor serial number indicated for the seal part number (probably replaced at some point). So get all the seals if there are multiple part numbers or take the time to order one after another. They were not too expensive so I just ordered the “correct “ one first then when it did not work ordered the other two possible parts and one of them was correct.

If you want I imagine that a local hydraulic repair shop would repair the pump for you at a reasonable price.

There are also o-rings at the inlet and outlet pipes to replace. Try to fill the pump with hydraulic fluid before putting the top (assuming there is a top hose) connection on the pump.

Excellent, I will replace all seals while being there. As you mentioned I'll order all possible options as they are likely not to expensive. Also I did check the fuel pump, disassembled and tested ok, and no fuel smell in engine oil either.
Thanks for the quick reply I will call my local dealer and hopefully will have all the necessary available. Cheers
