I have a L2501. I was thinking of mounting a hydraulic auger on the skid steer mount on the loader. There are several videos online that say it is fairly usable at the relatively low flow from the pump. I only need a 9" auger and don't particularly care how fast it is, although really slow would be a pain.
I was thinking of the Land Pride SA20, but several people on this forum say it won't work on that tractor, too slow and too weak. I also looked at the AugerTorque 900-9 (4-9gpm, 36-86RPM) or the X1100-13 (5-13Gpm, 44-98 RPM).

Two questions:
1. Does anyone have an hyrdaulic auger on a L2501 and what is your opinion of the usability?
2. Do you supply the hydraulics with a third function valve or some other method, my dealer says the third function valve heats up the oil too much?
Thanks in advance for any help!
