Hey guys Bx2230 Front Transaxle Leak from the bottom

Any advice on replacing the seals on the bottom?
Should i do the top and bottom at the same time?
Old timer told me to fill it with axle grease and forget about it!

Firstly, it's a differential, not a 'trans-axle'.


I suppose you are asking about the final drive, where the hubs and wheels are, at the end of the axle?

Drain the existing fluids and install Lucus-

It won't leak anymore.



Use an old fashion pump oil can with the nozzle removed.

Okay, it leaks pretty bad both sides. I guess I can try. 90w Will last a few weeks.

Looks like you need to replace all the seals then.
