Heated Cab

I now have heat in the cab. Had the coil many years, $20 for a fan and $8 for hose & clamps. It was 30dg outside and 80dg in the cab. I can control the temp with the fan switch.

Not bad! I've toyed with the idea of doing the same thing for my M4500. The Harris cab that it has on it originally had heat and AC but they were rotted clear off of it by the time I got it.

This was a quick fix, had the coil and got a 85cfm fan from radio shack $20. The tap was easy enough for the hoses. Thought about a junk yard for the coil but would try this one first. If I can keep the cab at 55dg when it's 10-20 outside I'll be happy and this will do it. I'll have a thermostat installed with in a week to hold the temp at 55. Hope you give it a try it's worth it.
