Honestly the SGC0654 would probably fit my use as is really just brush cleanup and carrying 4 ft logs to the processing area

The SGC1060 grapple is a heavier duty grapple than the SGC0660, and it weighs about 150 lbs. more. You would be paying more and giving up lift capacity for a stronger unit. Would the stronger unit be of benefit to you - only you can say? I have had my SGC0654 for over two years. It shows no damage, and I have never been wanting in terms of functionality. I use my grapple frequently; it stays mounted on the loader. However if I am planning to rip out some small bushes, I use my bucket with the tooth bar. Some people dig more in the dirt with their grapples, but they are risking their loader and hydraulic system on compact tractors.

I will also be just using mine for moving brush and smaller limbs. Anything larger is cut and split where it is. Any digging I do with the back hoe. One thing with the Kioti's twin cylinders is that I have the option of converting it to a dual grabber in the future with minimal fabrication.

Ted of Everything Attachments put out a video today showing an even more upgraded Wicked 55 and it looks great. They've added steel between the tines with "teeth" to get a better grip on trees, roots, limbs etc. I'm going to email EA and ask them if they'll sell those pieces as an upgrade kit for those of us interested/able to weld them in ourselves.

After watching that, it's official. I operate my tractor like a grandma.

I thought I worked my B2601 pretty hard. But it seems I have a fair way to go before I should be concerned.

Certainly would not loan my tractor to that chap. Would not even consider using a grapple in that fashion. This is why you have appropriate attachments.
