Hi:
Great forum.
I have a 1998 Grand L2900 (GST) with a factory (LA480) FEL.
The tractor is in vey good shape with only 250hrs.
I do quite a lot of FEL work and I have noticed that when the hydraulic get hot, I loose some power.
For example, I can't lift the tractor using the FEL.
The fluid is clean and the filter had been changed about 50hrs ago.
I know that some Kubota came with an hydraulic cooler.
I'm thinking of doing the same and looking at the WSM it will appear that the only return line (no pressure) that I can easily use is the PS return line on top of the hydraulic pump.
Questions:
Do you thing that the cooler is a good idea/will work and do you see any probem using the PS return line?
Thanks
Luc
