I'm looking at purchasing a MX5200 and want to make sure I'm getting a good price.
Tractor- HST
LA1065 Loader with upgraded 84" bucket heavy duty with cutting edge
R4 tires loaded
74 inch land pride snow blower
72 inch land pride rotary mower

with all current rebates (1000 on tractor 500 on loader) we are looking at getting out the door for $35,000. Does that sound like a decent price?

Just a thought but I've seen 84" buckets on much larger tractors but personally never seen one on a 50hp tractor. Better plan on some serious ballast on the rear.

I believe my son was quoted $32,200-32,800 for an MX5200, LA1065 loader, 72" Sq. back bucket, 3rd function on the loader, loaded tires and one set of rear remotes.

Yes it comes on a bigger tractor. We will be using it on a horse farm for mostly moving manure, hay and riding equiptment like jumps. We wont be over loading it or moving earth. We just want more room not to carry a heavier load. 3 dealers told us it would be fine. as long as we aren't thinking of over using it to move heavy material.

Thanks for the info on your sons qoutes then maybe mine isnt' so bad. this is my first time purchasing a new tractor so didn't know how much they neg. price. This dealer has a good rep and has been very pleasant so far.

That sounds to Me like that is about right. Maybe can cut a few hundred but if I plan on using their service department, I don't tend to haggle for every last penny.
