generator not charging b7100.this is a simple alternator,a 2 wire. the wire goes in around the poles and comes out.measure the a/c voltage between the wires, must be 20 volts or more.if you have a resistance [ohm ] reading between one wire and earth there is a short, broken wire. blowing the dust out will help with a better voltage ,but will not fix the ohm reading problem.remove the generator[ really an alternator]with the bent 10mm spanner, and some expertise, and look for the break.clean the lacquer, from the wires, scrape it,join the wires, and off you go.getting the nut under the assembly again is a challenge, no worries to a kubota owner!rgds. chris
