The brakes on my G6200 need to be adjusted, the brake pedal won't release, it's like a spring has come off. There is no tension on the pedal and I have to pull the pedal back manually to release the brake. I need to know how to get to the brake linkage to see/fix what's wrong.

Look underneath the floorboard and follow the linkage rod from the pedal to the other end where it is attached to a flat plate that pivots. There is a spring there that returns the brake pedal, maybe its broken, stretched, disconnected or missing altogether.

Thanks Freewheel3, I actually had to make a run to my Kubota dealer today (1 hr. each trip one way) for some emergency parts and while I was there I got the info that I needed. You were dead-on by the way. Now all I have to do is dig into it. Thanks again.

There are Operator and Parts Manual (includes drawings) available on kubotabooks.com for free. Look at G4200 for the parts manual. It may not be exact for the 6200 but it is close. Many of the frame parts are interchangeable. The engines are the major difference between the 3200-4200-5200-and 6200 models.
