Just bought a B6100 with FEL.
So far its awesome. My first utility tractor.
Need to correct some wiring issues and maybe look for some new front tires but otherwise its sound and works great. I have the 3 pt balast box filled with lead.
So my question is on fuel gauges. Sometime after this model Kubota added a fuel gauge to the dash.
What mechanism is used to get the fuel tank level transmitted to the dash?
Is this a sensor that could be retrofitted to my tractor. Or does someone make a cap gauge at least?
Would be nice to be able to know the fuel level without removing the inlet strainer and sticking it.

The simplest method is to open the cap and look. Get a dip stick. Keep track of engine hours between fills.

You might have space in/on the top of your tank to mount an aftermarket electric sending unit. They are usually the size of a beer coaster and you have to drill a larger hole to fit in the float assembly. You then need to find a spot on your tractor to mount a separate electronic gauge.
