First flat in 600 hours on the front. Where is a good point to place a jack stand under the front axle while I run the tire and rim to town for a fix?

Anyplace under axle tube, jack stand on solid surface, or place a couple layers of plywood under stand.closer outboard towards wheel the better.
Thanks Tooljunkie. Found out I didn't have enough muscle in myself and proper tools to break the lugs for the first time. So ended calling the local field service and they tried two times to save the tire but it failed. I ordered two new ones and will look for a rim and have a spare to work with now. I need to improve my method in working in areas where unknown objects can be found. I think next time I'll use my bucket instead of the root grapple and pick up the material and move out of the way before rolling forward.
