Well we finally got some snow today about 3 inches on the ground this morning most of it from blowing,, I asked one time about the advantages or disadvantages of useing both front and rear blades when plowing snow, so this morning I put the back blade on angled it so it pushed to the right and left the front strght ,, well the 2A modifyed stone does not like the skid shoes onthe front blade and just digs up so theres ruts, the back blade really kinda smoothed the ruts out and leveled everything off,, so i guess in essence while there is no real advantage to useing both I did clean the drive way and level it at the same time,,,, BUT we shall see how well when the snow melts,,, I just thought some one else might have had some thing like this cross their minds too

I have one for the front and rear also, I found that until the ground freezes your better off using the back one because the front one will dig in even in the float position.

Yepps the drive way was stoned a long time back and rutts all along the modifyed stone helped a triaxle would have been just about enough but at 23 bucks a ton ya do what ya have to,,lol.. I got the land pride blade from a bud that hated it, asked how much he wanted he said just keep it if I ever need it I know where it is. Though I have to ask how tight do you keep the links a tad loose or tight enough so there is very little side to side play?

I keep them tight, very little sideplay. I plowed this morning was ok until I got off of driveway. Dug some of the grass up with front blade. Your probably like us, not much snow this winter.
