Thought I would post a few pictures of a set of forks I built for my tractor. I handle a fair amount of fire wood and saw logs and was getting tired of using a chain with the bucket to move them around and on to the sawmill deck. They are rather short on purpose so I would not pick up too much for the tractor. It's too bad Kubota has not incorporated a quick attach method for the bucket on the B series and I think also the BX series. In my opinion that is one area where JD has them beat and that's about the only area.
The only issue I have found is with them being independent they occasionally get out of sync with each other but that is easily corrected. Apparently the hydraulic flow is not always equal between the paired cylinders. Not sure I want to weld a bar between them just yet and don't thing it's really necessary. Anyone have an idea if I am hurting anything by having them independent?
