I didn't post about it but I was having some electrical issues with my B2400. The battery wasn't charging and I was suspecting the alternator. After checking and cleaning the battery and connections I took the alternator off. I then figured I would take it apart before ordering a new one. That thing was caked with dirt. I sprayer it out with electrical cleaner and it is working fine. Just wanted to let you know you might be able to save some money when you suspect a bad alternator. I am also damn proud of myself because I really have no idea what I am doing with vehicle repairs.

Good job!

I'd guess the brushes weren't making proper contact due to the dirt. By cleaning it you freed them up and you're back in business.

Have a great weekend!
