Finishing mowers

Is there anyone using a Land Pride AMF4211 or AMF4214? I have a 4060 and didn't know if it would handle a AMF4214. I would appreciate any input on either of these mowers. In have about 18 to 20 acres to mow and my 6' finishing mower isn't the answer. Thanks for any help.

I'm not an expert on either of these but Land Pride lists the AMF4211 as compatible with L Series tractors with 30+ hp and the AMF4214 as compatible with L Series tractors with 40+ hp.

My 4060 has 42hp, so I would be at the bottom on the 4214. I went ahead today and ordered the 4211 today. I'm thinking, if the grass is high, I won't have any problems. I hope this new mower is as good as my 1672 has been. I was told, it could be around August before I could get mine. That will be lots of hours on my new 4060 till I get new mower.

I mow about 20 acres every 7-10 days too and have a LP FDR3690 that I used for most of it up until this year. Most of my grass are the corners, irregular shapes, and mow strips between my corn/soybean fields though so I find it much quicker to use my ZD1211-72 as long as I keep up with it and don’t let it get too tall. The 90” also scalps more because of the nature of cutting mostly around the edges of the areas described. If i had mostly open square fields to mow the all-flex mowers would be great.

I pull a Proressive TD65 16 foot mower with an L6060, it does it effortlessly. I also have an LP FDR3690 that I use in confined areas I would think that you could use the14 foot mower with 42 hp.

I finally got my AMF4211. I used it today for 4 hours and cut what normally would have taken all day and a full tank of diesel. I still have over a half a tank of fuel. I wish I had ordered this earlier. It cut as good or better than my 6' finishing mower. Turning radius is great.
There is no problems with the L4060 pulling this 11' mower. I think I made the right decision. It was almost like cheating today, to see how much was cut on every pass.
