I have a bx2200 with a la211 fel after a record snowfall in New England I had to replace two hydraulic lines on the loader. Once I got everything back together I went to place loader back on tractor. I could not get the loader to operate. The tractor operates fine when loader is not attached. I double checked to see if all the hoses were placed in the correct locations. After viewing the diagrams in the parts book I think the hoses are in the correct location. I placed FEL back on tractor and the only thing that it does is lift when I place the joy stick in the "float" position. I can get it to lower when I move the joy stick to the raise position. Again I traced all hoses and the seem to be in the correct locations. While the tractor had color coded tape on the hoses originally they have faded enough over time that the colors have bleached out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am
trying to avoid calling the dealer to pick up the tractor as they are 45 minutes away.

If its working backwards then I would say obviously the lines are not correct . Try switching the lines for raising the loader . Does the bucket curl correctly ?

It does sound like it is backwards.
Do not trust all diagrams.
Sometimes the drawing is misleading.

I have had incorrect diagrams.

This has always stuck with me since I had just got out of school. My buddy had a jacked up bronco. Wasn't very mechanically inclined. Pulled the distributer and plug wires off to replace them. But didn't replace them one at a time to get the direction and alignment right on the distributer cap  called three different parts stores to get the proper firing order. All said the same thing. Could never get it running after that. Got fed up and sold it for cheap!!!!! As soon as the money exchanged hands and the buyer got the title, he popped the hood, unhooked the distributer cap, spun it 180° and clipped it back into place. Never disconnected one plug wire. Hopped in, fired it up. And drove it home :D::rolleyes: Sometimes the author of them books are dyslexic :p:p
