Hello, I have a Kubota F2100E with a RC72-F24 mower deck. I would like to mount a RC72-F30 mower deck from a Kubota F2260 on the F2100. I see the mounting arms are quite different and was wondering if anyone has done this before with an adapter kit or good old fabrication skills. The reason for doing this is the RC72-F24 deck is worn out and the RC72-F30 deck is like new condition. Any advise will be well taken and appreciated.

I do not know either machine so my comments are very generic.

Before worrying about lift arms, I would be confirming the two drive systems to the mower deck are compatible.

On pictures of the F2260 I see a shaft drive to the deck.

I would be checking the drive system to the deck is the same. Physical fit, then direction of rotation and speed.

These compatibilities will be much harder to resolve than the lift arms.

If you posted some pictures, your challenges would be easier to understand and someone who has not done this conversion might have some good ideas

Good luck

The F2260 is just the next generation of the F2100. Basically cosmetic changes and the way the front implements mount to the power unit. PTO speeds are the same as well as direction of rotation. I think Kubota changed the way attachments hook-up so they could sell new attachments like a snow blower, power broom, mower deck, ect. when customers upgraded. If Kubota didn't offer an adapter kit, you would have no choice but to buy new attachments/implements. I was just wondering if someone had designed their own adapter or knew of a company that offered the adapters.
