F series spline shaft to HST

I am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction;
I discovered that the universal joint connecting the shaft from the motor to the HST had failed.
I managed to remove half the spline shaft and the mounting bracket to the motor;
Now all i need is to find a replacement part which doesnt seem easy.
Here is the shaft that i removed

Finally here is the shaft and mounting plate removed



Anyone else had to replace this part?

Maybe Im missing some info, but why dont you simply replace the cross and reuse your assembly?

Replace the u joint. Easy peasy.

Here is a diagram from Kubota USA illustrated parts list.

there are #20 u-joint at both ends. I would recommend you replace both of them. There is a serial number break for those parts so find your serial number! You should also get some of the #30 snap rings since you may be missing some of those.

You can replace the whole shaft assembly if you want to but I would think the cost would probably be astronomical.
