Does anyone know what the correct washers are for an L3200 oil plug? The part # is 6C090-58960 but I would like to buy them local (my dealer is an hour away). These are the flat copper washers. I assume everything on a Kubota is metric so my guess is that they are an M12 that you could buy at your local O'Reilly's. Does anyone know for sure? I can't imagine that Kubota has theirs specially made to a weird size. I like to replace them at every oil change.

Similarly, same question for the gaskets for the three 14mm fluid plugs and the 27mm filler plug for the Front Axle Oil Change. I don't know the official Kubota Part #s. The three 14mm fluid plugs have flat copper washers. The 27mm plug has a center rubber gasket in the washer.

Finally, same question for the two 24mm plugs and the two 14mm plugs for the Hydraulic Fluid Change. I don't know the official Kubota Part #s. These plugs have a center rubber gasket in the washer.

Thanks to everyone in advance!

Check your local hardware store. Quite often they have a master kit in standard and metric in with there drawers of miscellaneous fittings, washers, o'rings and such.

I have done that before so I was able to match the copper flat washers up. However, I had to have the washers OFF the tractor to take them to the local store to match them up. What I would like to do is have them already on hand so I am ready to complete the maintenance without having to worry about whether or not I can get them locally. When I did my earlier maintenance I wasn't able to find the washers with the rubber gasket so I had to put the old ones back on so as to not have my tractor idle waiting for new ones to be delivered. If I know what is needed I could go to the local store and get what I need or at least know they didn't have it and get it from Amazon or somewhere else - Messick's if all else fails but have them in hand.

Thanks for your suggestion, though.

Usually those type of washers with an o'ring on them are for a Boss type fittings and hydraulic blocks. If there is a local hose supplier near by that makes hydraulic lines, they may have the washers in stock.

I always have a stash on hand but, that said, I re-use the same washer two or three times before I swap it out. Never had a leak. If all else fails, you could clean off the washer while your fluid drains and then pencil around it on an index card. Reinstall the old one this time and use the drawing to size another locally.

My trick to success is to get the pan drain hole and washer mating surface as clean as can be by wiping it off several times and wiping the bolt and washer off separately, using Windex or a mild degreaser, before re-installing. No foreign material means little chance of seal damage. A good seal means no leaks.

Since your dealer is so far, I would suggest going to www.messicks.com or www.colemanequip.com. They both sell/ship genuine Kubota parts.

I think with both you can search your tractor's model #, and then get a part #.

Since your washers are small, shipping shouldn't be a killer, and get several.

I prefer to go to a parts counter for this kind of stuff, but sometimes internet sales do provide some convenience....... ;)
