This is on a BX23 2007 vintage.
When I fired it up a couple of days ago, the after market tachometer was not functioning, it showed 0 rpm, no matter the actual engine rpm. On further investigation, the sensor had come loose, and the magnet was nowhere to be found. While fixing this, I noticed that one of the engine mount isolators had become detached from one of its bolt ends. Of course, this happened on a Saturday, when our parts supplier is closed, setting back the order date to Monday. Amazon sells isolators which were the correct size, but the bolt ends are M10, where the originals are 3/8, and it turns out the engine mount holes are just large enough to accommodate the slightly larger M10 bolts. They come in packs of 4 from Amazon, which is a good thing since 3 of the isolators had become detached. Long story short, if you lift the engine with a shop crane and use a pry bar as well, these isolators can be installed, but only if you shorten the bolts enough so that they will just accommodate the nut. Saves a lot of sweat, not have to detach the engine to get more lift. Now to see if these isolators will hold up as well as OEM, as I assume they are Chineseium.
