ECU Error Code P0606

I'm new, tried searching for code P0606 here but I must've done something wrong cause I got zero returns. Anyway, I cleaned the battery connections and put a charger on it on set to crank power. Code remains. I would appreciate any help.
Tractor is a 2015 L3301 HST.

When I search for 'P0606' using everywhere, I get lots of hits.

That code shows a communication error in the ECU. Has the battery recently been replaced?

Engine error P0606

My L4060 had a flashing warning reported P0606. Flashing triangle goes out after restart, but error code is still there. Chappell Tractor Maintenance guy says it indicates water in engine. I cleaned out the sediment bowl and oil shows no milky color

Don't know if this is going to help, but from the WSM for the L3301, 3901 and 4701:

P0605 and P0606 = ECU Flash ROM and CPU abnormality

You need to contact your dealer about this TSB.

Warranty for 8 Years from retail date
Issue: The engine may fail to start, and DTC code P0605 or P0606 may appear.

Solution: If DTC P0605 is present, replace the engine ECU with the updated engine ECU in the chart per the Workshop Manual and complete a manual DPF regeneration per the Diagnosis Manual.

If only DTC P0606 is present, update the ECU Software to the latest software per the chart for your unit and clear the DTC codes (The DPK file can be downloaded from the Machine Software page on K Service).
