This noob is needing an experienced eye to tell me if this set up looks right. I This Jacobson Truckster with a D905E as a basket case and the throttle linkage to me looks wrong. No manual I find shows it connected. In the image attached should not the spring be between the lever and the bracket?
If I start it it will runaway unless I throttle the fuel back with the manual shutoff at the fuel filter.
