I need some help, I need a conventional flywheel, pressure plate and clutch to attach to a D905E, 3 cylinder diesel. is there such a thing? Or am I going to need a milling machine and lathe(custom). I have looked on the net and am not finding any parts from Kubota for this type of drive application.

I have the original flywheel that came with this engine but it was never mounted in anything mobile.

What are you mounting it to now?

Do you have an existing flywheel? Does it mate the crank?

Are you mounting to a B series?

Have you sought out a flywheel for a 750 or 950?

No, you ain't gonna lathe no flywheel for this........other options.

How about some pics?

The original flywheel is still attached to the original crankshaft. The engine came out of generator/light tower. If you promise not to laugh, I can tell you I am trying to mate the engine to an automobile transmission, therefore the need for a flywheel, pressure plate and clutch to fit. I had at one time a site that gave specifics as far as bolt patterns, hole sizes etc but cannot locate now. This is a bench test project to convert a gas to a diesel that theoretically, according to the plans is supposed to achieve 100 mpg of diesel fuel.

No I haven't looked at any other engine/flywheels etc but you are correct in that the original plans called for using a D-750 engine. I wasn't able to find one at the time at a reasonable price. They are getting scarce, the D-905 I have runs like a clock.
THanks for responding, Mark

Its about a 25 year old project out of Popular mechanics about 1985. I bought the plans and then life got in the way. I am better prepared now to undertake this project now. It may have been Mechanics Illustrated.
Thank you for the lead on ecomodder.
