Picture of installed canopy.

I added the crossmember to the front to stabilize the side frames and to provide a location for an overhead rear view mirror.

Nice. Did you cut down your ROPS? Surprised it didn't come with some kind of support like you added. Well done.

If engine noise is an issue from the canopy you could ad butyl automotive sound deadening mat on the under side. Not sure if it come in any other color than silver so that may be an issue. I've used it on a couple projects, sticks pretty good and works well.

I didn’t cut the canopy down. That canopy fits several widths of ROPS. I guess they couldn’t figure out a way to make a variable width cross member.

I was observing your ROPS height. Looks short compared to others.

Very nice.
I've got side mirrors on my Original Tractor Cab and still need to turn around to see, especially when the doors knock them out of alignment. I've been eyeing adding a center mirror like you did.

I think that is really clean install. I’d like to do something similar except I don’t have a cross piece (at least not that far forward)…I really want one now though.

is ‘West Coast’ a style? I am not sure the reference and I am afraid to look what that means. I am more hill Billy / rural style than west coast I suspect, but I dig the mirror, that’s functional for sure. …that looks factory and really clean.

I hope you will share some update after use as to weather the mirror holds position or continually has to be retightened…maybe need some temporary thread lock?

I hope to do something similar. 👍

It’s a Grote model 16092

I made the brackets out of sheet metal

The tri-lobe knobs came from the Hillman drawers at Lowe’s. The mirror does not move. I had to loosen the knobs until I could just move the mirror by hand.
