I know this has been beat to death and then some but need to know if this works for my loader???

LA481 Kubota L2900

I've read in several places that you have to extend the skid loader plate outward away from the bucket... Can't remember why??? So it seems this may not work since it would be bumped out far enough? Some please clue me in. I would love to convert my Kubota to quick attach but paying $900 for a pin-on ready to go unit isn't an option. I'd like to make my own, like this one since I can weld, but fear my fabrication skills may be lacking...

I think the OEM from a dealer is around 500. I was lucky, was at my local dealer and found a new SSQA laying out back. Bought a 66" used bucket and the new but weathered plate for 500. A little paint and new cutting edge on the bucket and good as new. I have thought about the weld on plates for the old 60" bucket that are on ebay for 85.00.
The thing I see with the mount you have pictured is without a jig it will be extremely hard to get all 4 pins lined up correctly. For the price of it I would check with your local dealer.

Don't want the Kubota version. I plan to pick up root rake/log grapple combo and a front snow blade. It would be easier to run skid steer style. Attachments are so much easier to acquire. Making a jig is easy, you just use the old bucket mounts that you torch off and a nice big flat surface. [emoji6]

My problem is cutting the big circular holes to weld the pin bushings in.

I just made a post about this a few days ago. Should answer your questions.

This KUBOTA attachment fits ALL SKID STEER accessories. This is not a "kubota quick attach" but rather a Kubota made SKID STEER adapter. I did the same research you did, and for THE SAME PRICE, I was able to buy an OEM Kubota mount all welded up and READY TO ATTACH TO MY MACHINE, rather than making a jig and hoping that my welds would hold and all that.

Seriously, I paid $450 plus tax and shipping for my OEM L2230A mount.......

The Quick Attach Skid Steer Option including a 66" wide bucket cost me an additional $500 on a LA525 I just purchased for my L2501.

Millsrv, that's a steal! I don't see why ANYONE wouldn't do that deal direct from Kubota. SSQA bucket and coupler for $500? SOLD!
