Hello folks

I have a 2 year old (bought it brand new) Kubota BX2670 - about 40 hours on it - leaking power steering fluid. One of the two hoses running from the steering wheel to the front end (axle area) has a leak about a foot back from the front end. Can't see any evidence of cuts, damage or any reason why the hose would leak other than manufacture defect. I haven't checked with the dealer about warranty yet but I was a little disappointed to have this kind of a problem this early - exactly the reason I didn't buy used.

Anyone else experience this problem and/or can provide some good resource info on repairing? thanks!

cheers

Have seen it on the 50 and 60 series BX's, not completely uncommon. I would suggest having the lines made, if warranty doesn't cover it. Alot of those lines from Kubota are only single strand wire, most hoses made by a dealer are double strand
