I have a new 2370 4 wheel drive model kubota. I was wanting to know if anybody has had any experience with purchasing & using a plow or tiller with this size tractor & what they reccomend as to purchase or not purchase either one for my kubota. I would be using them to prepare my garden area which i have been doing with a troy built rear tine tiller. the soil is well mulched & very tillable with my hand tiller. Every fall i put manure & leaves in the area & till in then in spring i just retill to plant. the ground always workes up well but I thought the tractor with an inplement may do a better job ?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated since the inplements are not cheap! Would that be a good investment?

We use a Land Pride RTR0550 on our BX2660 and it works well.

Yeppers a tiller will be just the ticket for your now toy errrr hard working tractor,,
Yes don't let anyone tell you that the BX is a lawn mower cause they aint, they are a working piece of iron that, if treated well, will out live most of us in here. Now the thing to remember is that IT IS A SMALL tractor so what ever you get, Front end loader, snow blower, plow, tiller ,what ever just remember its not a 988 and treat it as such. Things will take a bit longer than with a big tractor but that's ok cause it will get done in short order just the same and a heck of a lot quicker than doing it by hand. And theres something quieting, about the sound of a diesel humming along doing its job.
Oh and something about the tiller no matter what brand you buy,, take it slow and easy by that I mean, your first passes through your garden or food plot drop it down till it hits the ground and make your passes and then next pass drop down 2 or 3 inches by letting it run as you sit in one spot letting it dig down, as you have NO DOWN PRESSURE with a 3 point hitch,, and make your passes maybe two or 3 times just to make sure you have it all chopped up,,, and then let it dig down another 2 or 3 inches keep it up till it is down all the way, that way roots and BFR's( big freekin rocks) don't get jammed to bad and you can enjoy the tilling.. Yeah I did mine with a TB horse for a lot of years and thought the ground was supper as well, put a tiller on and found all kinds of stuff I never found with the TB. In fact after the PTO tiller I found arrow heads and hammer stones I never knew where there
And welcome to the orange and pictures my friend we do love our tractor porn,,,lol

Assuming you may do some other work, consider: Rear blade, rear lawn mower, PTO powered generator rated at suitable level for your HP.
