I have a bx2230 that is not overfilled. When I run it for about 45 minutes it leaks from the ventilation tube under seat. What could be causing this. I have posted this 2 times and haven't had a response. Am I posting in the right place? If it is the hydro pump should I get it repaired or replaced. I am sure I could replace it myself. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Redneckarchery@yahoo.com thanks, Mat

Thanks very much for the quick reply and Happy Easter to everyone.
I talked to one guy who said it could be caused by "blowback" inside the pump.
It leaks maybe 6 tbsp. When I run it 45 min. It only come out of the vent tube with a red cap on it. I have pulled it out and there are no blockages. When it gets hot like that the bucket and
Hydro whines and is noticeably weak.

I recall reading several times about hydraulic issues with the BX. It may have something to do with the way the return line is plumbed. I even recall that Kubota has a bulletin about it. I think a kit is available to re-route the return line. Maybe I'm wrong, I dont' have a BX so I just kind of glassed over the info. Hopefully someone else remembers this problem.
