BX2200D - No glow plug light

Anyone still here!? I own a BX2200 and I have the same problem mentioned above - no glow plug light, brand new battery, the bulb checks out, the BR wire to the glow plug bar has continuity from the connector that would plug into the ignition switch under the dash. I pulled the ignition switch and don't have continuity from 30 terminal to 19 terminal (30 Red to 19 Black Red) when in the PREHEAT position. I then bought an aftermarked ignition switch. It too does not have continuity when in the PREHEAT position. Did I just buy a lemon. Can someone tell me I'm sane, or insane. I've checked the safety switches (no fun - you have to take the rear tires off), grounds, starter (complete DCI). I'm going batshit, here folks. Should I have paid the $150 for the Kuboto switch. What's this I hear about an external glow plug switch to hit when I need it.
