Howdy all,

My BX2200D with 420 hours (60" belly mower, otherwise unencumbered) decided to quit steering this weekend. Steering wheel spins without doing anything at the front end. Belly mower hydraulics still work fine. Any ideas? This is my first tractor with power steering so I'm at a bit of a loss. Hydraulic fluid in transmission topped off just a week or two ago, freshly changed with new filter less than 25 hours ago.

Thanks!

Sounds like you have blown the seal on the steering cylinder.
Jack the front end off the ground, if you get some steering action then it's the cylinder.
