bx2200 steering hyd hose problems

hello, i have a bx2200, yr 2000. i have a bad hyd hose but cannot get the hose off the steering column end. There is a top nut 5/8" and one 11/16 nut on the bent tube on the end of the hose end. How does this come apart, or come off? its hard to get a wrench on the top nut, but i did, but cannot get it to turn loose from the bottom nut? when it comes loose from the top block, it swivels and hits the right side hose.
any advice is appreciated. Thanks
